This month, we’re proud to celebrate a major milestone—8 years of Element 22 Commercial Group! Since opening our doors in 2018, we’ve had the privilege of partnering with credit unions, banks, and industry professionals across the country to help strengthen and grow commercial lending programs. What started as a vision to provide specialized expertise and trusted support has grown into a thriving organization built on relationships, collaboration, and a shared commitment to helping financial institutions succeed.
Over the past eight years, we’ve had the opportunity to work alongside incredible partners, support millions of dollars in commercial loan transactions, and help institutions navigate complex lending opportunities with confidence. From underwriting and documentation to servicing support and loan participations, every success story has been made possible by the trust our clients place in us.
This month’s closing document highlight is a great example of the impactful projects we’re proud to support. Element 22 recently underwrote and prepared closing documents for a $186,000 financing package for a new Southwest Michigan indoor golf simulator facility. The project will create a fully automated, 24/7 recreational destination for members and the public while providing the borrower with a flexible financing structure designed to support long-term success. The transaction included a 12-month interest-only period before converting to a five-year term amortized over ten years, giving the business time to establish operations and build momentum. The loan was backed by three guarantors and secured by all business assets, including the new simulators. This financing demonstrates how thoughtful loan structures can help local businesses grow while creating exciting new opportunities within their communities.
